Hey friends,
Today’s email will be short and sweet.
As you know, What Counts is an email newsletter dedicated to the science of self-improvement.
For nearly 2 years now, I’ve been sending (hopefully!) useful emails about a number of topics close to my heart—how to live more intentionally, achieve more, and feel more fulfilled.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned along the way is this:
The ability to do exactly what it is you say you’ll do—in other words, becoming a person of your word—is a superpower.
There’s magic in dreaming big, calling your shot, and then doing everything under the sun to follow through and make that happen.
I recently probably called the biggest shot of my life by announcing that this summer I’ll be running the length of Great Britain—42 marathons in 42 days—to raise money for my Mum’s ongoing fight with Multiple Sclerosis.
I’m looking forward to using this challenge as a chance to explore how to build an unbeatable mindset and push my limits further than I ever have. I hope it will provide a ton of interesting content for you.
You’ll be hearing plenty more about the experiences and lessons I learn along the way, but in the meantime you can learn more, check out the site and follow the story here:
(Any donations are of course welcomed, but I understand if you want to wait and see me actually knock this challenge out before taking that leap.)
If you enjoyed today’s newsletter, feel free to share it with a friend!
If someone shared this with you, go to whatcounts.io to subscribe and receive weekly emails like this.
Your friends,
Benji and Jacob
