The return of What Counts
Hey!
You’re receiving this email because you signed up to the What Counts newsletter at some point.
If you can’t remember us, it’s probably because we haven’t sent an email in a while. Sorry about that!
Starting this week, we’re back to business—and we’re not going away anytime soon.
If you need a reminder:
Our goal is to explore the science of self-improvement and grow an audience of people that want to do the same. We’re still really passionate about this goal but we’ve taken some time away to think about the best way to do that.
One of the goals we set to help us grow an audience of people interested in scientific self-improvement was to make videos documenting the challenges and projects we work on.
We’re happy to say we just uploaded our first YouTube video, linked at the bottom of this email.
In this video, What Counts co-founder Benji decided to lock himself in his room until he could play a song on guitar and time how long it took.
As someone who wants to improve as a musician, he thought it would be a fun way to figure out where his current skill level is and how much room for improvement he has.
However. . .he had no idea that only a week later he would have to play that same song in front of a whole bunch of strangers in his first ever public performance.
You can watch the whole video and see how it went at the link below:
Until next time,
Benji and Jacob.
